Introducing
PREP II
You may have heard about Pennsylvania's successful Prepared Renter Program or PREP which was created as a tool to assist people to develop the skills needed to become renters.
We are now pleased to announce the follow up initiative, PREP II. This latest addition is designed to help ensure renters have the skills needed to deal with issues that could jeopardize their housing.
PREP II Provides renters with the tools to:
· Understand tenant rights and responsibilities
· Effectively comprehend the lease
· Deal with problem neighbors
· Communicate effectively with landlords
· Avoid eviction
PREP II Training Delivery:
· PREP II training is provided by the Regional Housing Coordinators (RHC) in a train the trainer format.
· The RHC will work with your staff to prepare them to provide PREP II to the people you serve.
· PREP II training is currently available free of charge to groups that serve people with disabilities in Pennsylvania.
